The The Chihuly Gardens and Glass: Part Uno

Dale “One-Eyed-Glass-God” Chihuly is arguably the worlds most well know glass blower. Truly, the man who took glass blowing from a Italian craft to a full-on art form.

Glass art began in America in the year 1962 in Toledo, Ohio. A small group of men and woman took an experimental art glass class at the Toledo Museum of Art and the rest is history. (Don’t worry I’ll get into that in the future.)

Now, dear viewer, welcome to the Chihuly Gardens….
